UW-Milwaukee reinvents campus to keep Lake Michigan clean

Storm water runoff is a major pollutant to Lake Michigan.  Just a few blocks from the shores of Lake Michigan, architecture projects at UW-Milwaukee are underway to beautify the campus and mitigate storm water runoff.

UW-Milwaukee’s School of Freshwater Sciences and Chancellor Michael Lovell’s active role with The Water Council, continue to position UW-Milwaukee as a leader in sustainability and managing freshwater resources.
