Anaerobic digester in Milwaukee breaks ground!

Its official – groundbreaking has started for the Potawatomi anaerobic digester, located in Milwaukee, WI.  On Nov 6, 2012, we visited the construction site off Canal Street in the Menomonee Valley.

For food and beverage manufacturers that want to enhance their sustainability story and green initiatives, the digester has an impressive story.

By recycling their food organic food waste into biogas, they generate clean, green renewable electricity.
